A UNIQUE ARTIST THAT LITERALLY CREATES HIS ART FROM THE STARS
Meet Matthew Samson, self-taught artist from Las Vegas. He creates his pieces using materials that are more than 4 billion years old.
Since 2011 Matthew has been creating sculpture and works on canvas from ancient meteorites, which contain the oldest known elements in the Universe.
You’ll find a philosophy and a meaning behind his work that incorporates creation myths, cosmology, mysticism, poetry, exploring of quantum entanglement, thus creating one-of-a-kind sculptures using mix media on canvas.
Whether working with objects or human figures, Matthew’s art is a celebration of the continual birth and death of the stuff of the Universe.
